I got almost all the main vocal parts made in Thursday for the song "The Flagellant".
Meaning the verses and choruses. I will at later date complete the recording, by adding screams and grunts n shit. On the whole it is still a workinprogress. Its these goddamn schedules..

Sooo.. I just got back from Turku. We had a blast at TVO!! Still, next time when we hit the stage in Åbo, I wanna see necks breaking 4real. Goddamn.

My boys have been workin hard in the studio. The latest news that I heard, Janne was recording guitars to our new hit single "The Flagellant". It´ll be my turn this Thursday and we´ll continue with the vocals on Friday also. Our focus now is, of our four track mini-cd, the opening track called the Flagellant.
We are goin to release it on the Net as soon as its ready. This gives us the upper hand in manipulating your musical g-spot, as you drool after our full new mini-cd.

Pori Beyond Forever!

You hit the road with no expectations and no idea how the night is gonna end.
Four hours on the van with four fuckin retards that you call your bandmates. And you get to your destination and nothing is set up, the band you share the bill with is no where to be seen. And youre tired after youre shitty dayjob....

But then.

..ok..irrelevant, but sounds great.
So we got ourselves to Pori n got the motor runnin. Settin up shit, PA n stuff.
Got our stomachs full of kebab, which proved to be fatal on Petsa´s sensitive little tummy. He ran to the john five times before the show. For the record, I have Ze Iron Stomak.
N as Uncle Foe was doin their thing, kickin the shit out of them Pori -metalheads, we were backstage warmin up for a show that would surely be one the highlight of this "tour" by far..

On to the band introduction on Hatecrown, where Janne forgot to put guitar effects on as he showed of his amazing finger dexterity..
To counter that, I said "thank you Turku, I mean Pori, where the fuck are we?"

The gig was fuckin awesome. People went APESHIT, especially in the final moments of our sets last song Afterlight.
Thanks Pori, it was worth it.

My voice, its workin.. Omg, Im sooo happy.

Allright, seriously, I blew my voice really bad in Turku. Its all about warming up n I didnt do dick.
So the result was there for everyone to hear.
One thing I gotta say; thanks to all you guys for the kind words after the gig. Its kinda hard to moan n cry when you see people so fired up cos of your performance.
But as an artist you allways complain, n thats idiotic.
Just have fun n fuk it all.

So I went to rehears by myself n got the engine goin again. Few days of good rest n lots of drinkin (water, you idiots). I also checked out the vocal stuff for the upcomin mcd. Its gonna blow wax out of fuckin ears, n maybe your head too in the process.

Broken strings and voices...bassmayhem.

Turku-gig was pretty interesting to say the least :) Nadi blew his voice in the middle of HateCrown, so clean vocals we're pretty much left out for the rest of the show and we had to cut one new song (one with really cool Dickinson/Danzig-style vocals) out of the set.

Well...then my low E-string broke after my solo in "The Led Zeppelin"-song. My low E is like a fuckin' telephonewire and i still wonder how i was able break it. Of course i didn't have a spare guitar with me and the spare strings we're in a locked van outside the club (yeah, i'm a genius). So i joined the audience for the last song of the set. Great song btw.

But all in all; the gig was okay, the staff asked us to come back for a another gig and bassman Sami was definetly "on fire" that night ;) . Big thanks to guys of Uncle Foe and everyone at the Rokkibaari!

Sami played the bassparts for two songs this monday. We were going to start with the guitars tomorrow, but Manu (our recording engineer) has got some livemixing gigs for the rest of the week and so we'll start the guitar grinding next monday. Stay tuned!

About 50% of the drumwork is done. No studio this weekend, because we're playin a gig in Turku tomorrow. When monday comes, we'll kick this studioshit into high gear!
